About Greensaif Pipelines

In February 2022, GreenSaif Pipelines Bidco S.à r.l. (“GreenSaif Pipelines”) acquired a 49% stake in Aramco Gas Pipelines Company (“AssetCo”) from Saudi Arabian Oil Company (“Aramco”). AssetCo has rights to tariff payments until 2042 for gas transported through Aramco’s Gas Pipelines Network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The transaction valued AssetCo at US$31.6bn.

Aramco will continue to retain full operational responsibility of its Gas Pipelines Network which is essential strategic infrastructure to Aramco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Aramco is fully committed to sustainable practices and is an industry leader in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which are among the lowest in the sector. Aramco’s ambition is to achieve net-zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions across its assets by 2050.
